Lost in Space – a night out, in

I continue to be impressed by all the inventive ways theatre makers are handling lockdown, especially as I am mainly sitting around the house with no bra on rewatching old episodes of Buffy.

One such piece of inventiveness is Lost in Space. Happening on Saturday 6th June (at 8.30pm), it’s billed as a sci-fi themed night out (without leaving the house – because no matter what the govt says, pretty sure we should all still be staying in). This is a scratch night hosted by Scott Turnbull and Milly Blue, featuring performances by associate artists of Northern Stage and ARC, Stockton including Melody Sproates, Mike Edwards, and Luca Rutherford. Most of these artists I’m familiar with and have reviewed work by – Melody Sproates’ *Gender Not Included,   Scott Turnbull’s Where Do All the Dead Pigeons Go , and Mike Edwards’ Damn Seagulls (all at Alphabetti) – so would imagine you are in for a treat.

Tickets are pay what you feel (suggested at £5) and you can book here till 1pm on the day. So why not stay in, stay safe and support some local theatres?
