God, it all just feels like it’s dragging on forever, doesn’t it? But one of the things that is keeping me going is how lovely people are. I’ve had plenty of Zoom chats and messages, and the kindnesses, small and large, continue. I was particularly touched when my cousin bought me this little typewriter charm from Yorkshire Pud – sometimes I think my family is rather baffled by this whole ‘being a writer’ career so it’s lovely to feel supported. (I should point out that is lying on a fake leather notebook: I haven’t been sunbathing or anything).

And my friend L sent me this super cute cat ring (when I posted this picture, another friend said ‘wait, did you marry a cat?’ so glad to know I am remaining On Brand during lockdown…)
