Well, this has just been a terrible, terrible week. It seems only yesterday that we lost my aunt, but now my family has been hit by another tragedy, and we lost a beloved family member very suddenly, and way too young, at the weekend. I won’t be talking about it  on here – it’s not my story to tell, and I am wary of making someone else’s tragedy about me – but, obviously, it’s hit everyone incredibly hard and I feel like I haven’t quite processed that it is real.

So I have been stepping up the cross-stitch as way of distraction, as at least that demands a reasonable level of concentration. These two are both my designs, with aida from Claire Brown Cross-stitch, to whom I might as well just pay my wages these days, since I am constantly ordering from her Etsy store…
