So, I never thought I would be launching a book in a pandemic – and on a day the internet was (rightfully) on fire over violence against women, but I guess if the last year has taught us anything, it’s that life is never predictable.

My ‘launch’ therefore amounted to little more than a few internet posts and a Zoom with some friends, so was the very definition of low-key. But I was blown away by all the support I got – lots of nice messages and cards, lots of friends and readers pre-ordering the book, and even a handful of ‘publication presents’ including a bottle of espresso martini, some champagne and flowers! I really am lucky to have such amazing friends and such a great network of support.
