Back on theatre duty, last night I went to see Camisado Club’s Bluebeard at Alphabetti. I wasn’t sure what to expect, and – unusually for me – I struggled slightly to write my review and articulate quite why I liked it so much, but I would really recommend it. Visually striking, funny and smart, with a clutch of really strong performances (and only an hour long – y’all know I love short plays), it was one of the best things I have seen in ages. And it’s pay what you can at Alphabetti, if you are a bit skint. (Review here).

I also got to pet Rex the adorable theatre dog, so the night was a total win.
