Back with my reviewing hat on, I went to see One Under at Live last night. Although well acted and clever and with some nice moments, I’m afraid it didn’t grab me, never quite building the tension and momentum it needed to be really compelling. (Full review here ). Still, I’m really liking that Live is hosting so many of these short runs for touring plays – it might mean it’s easy to miss things as they are only on a couple of nights at a time, but it feels like it gives a great chance for people to see shows that have been hits elsewhere and gives a longer life to plays that deserve to be seen outside of just London and Edinburgh.
