Despite the fact that I have been too busy to read anything for months, I just had to treat myself to these beauties. The Long Walk From Jarrow by Stuart Maconie was a really great read so was keen to get this, and of course have been dying to get the Mantel, since I adored Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies (I keep hoping Cromwell will somehow make it out alive, mind, so suspect I’ll be disappointed)

I also decided to do a wee pic for International Women’s Day showing just some of the women writers I have on my ever-growing TBR pile, but yes I did a Leslie Knope and included myself…!
