Pizza, Pride and Prejudice

So at the weekend I took another step on the road to normal – went to a friend’s house for a catch up. The trip was less stressful than I had anticipated, since the Metros weren’t busy (though I noticed a lot more young people not wearing masks than had been evident on a week day, especially in the evenings). We didn’t do anything groundbreaking – sat, chatted, watched the movie version of Pride & Prejudice (which I do enjoy, even if it feels rushed compared to the BBC ‘wet shirt’ classic by which I judge all others) and ordered a takeaway pizza from Pizza Punks.

But it felt so good just to be hanging out with someone in a house and neighbourhood that wasn’t mine…
